QAH Caboolture Markets Fish Competition

Queensland Aquarium Hobbyists are pleased to announce a new Fish Competition which will take place on the 23rd - 25th October 2009.

The competition is a fish only competition in which only the fish will be judged. There will be no planted tanks or communities in the competition. If you wish to decorate your tank to help keep your fish happy then that is up to you....

Hello, I'm new to this forum and am hoping for some input. I hadn't cleaned my tank for quite a while and dug into it today. I kept noticing that anywhere on my hand where there is a scrape or hangnail or whatever, I felt a "shock." I have had this before and figured it was just ammonia in the water due to not cleaning it for a while. However, I became aware that while I was dumping fresh water in the tank from a bucket, if my thumb touched that water, I felt the same...

hey everyone, i have a few cichlids for sale aswell as the tank and accessories,
1 x psuedotrophies acei, yellow fins 9 cm,
1 x hongi male, 10cm,
4 x 6 bar Burundi Frontosa, 1 male at around 19 cm, 1 at 15cm, and the other two are at 9cm.
once the fish are gone, i will sell the tank which is 6 ft by 1.5 by 1.5, also two external filters which pump 2000L, also a 4 foot light and a air pump.
so if anyone is interested, make an offer, as i need this gone asap.

Hey guys wanting to get rid of my 4x2x2 setup. No longer into fish and want to move it all in one go if possible. The back and two sides are painted black.
